A terrific online resource is Noonsite http://noonsite.com/. It
currently covers 191 countries and 1,648 ports.

Directly or indirectly, I'm not sure which, Jimmy Cornell is behind
the site that features essential information for passage-planning.

Enjoy the planning part! That's the easy part, and the truly
enjoyable one. The hardest part will be actually leaving the dock.
