Hello Gators,TODAY marks the start of the Gators Fitness Challenge (GFC) that will run from this week through the week of December 29, 14 weeks in total.  As a reminder of what the GFC entails...The goal is to maintain at least some of the fitness that you gained during your race season and not have to do as much rebuilding before next season. For each week of the GFC you are committing to complete at least 15 minutes of each discipline... swim, bike, and run... with a minimum total of at least one hour per week. Each week will start on Monday and end the following Sunday.
A spreadsheet with all participants names will be posted on the bulletin board next to the Y indoor lap pool.  Each week that you complete the Challenge, you can check off your name.  If you don't make it to the Y, you can also let me know and I will check your name for you.
To the 28 that have committed to date... Let's go!  For anyone that has not yet committed but would like to do so, just let me know before the end of the week.  Those that have committed so far include (let me know if I missed you)...Stephanie BabiecMaribeth BakerVince BellinoAnne BentonJason BrannenKerri BrannenMary CookAdrienne FosterEllen FriendDave GaleJeannine KellyDon MackDean MilliganFrank MoffaMelissa MoffaMaureen PinkertonTiff PflugerTim PflugerChris ReiterAndy RosebrookDon SchlichtmannDoug SchmidtByron SolvasonMichelle SolvasonPatty TrainerBrent VoynarAllison WeslerJon Wesler

There will be opportunities each week to complete the Challenge entirely within club workouts, but you can definitely do your workouts on your own as well.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Have fun!
