Dear Northstar Newfoundland Club members:

We're looking forward to a fun weekend in St Cloud in a couple of weeks and
hope to see you there.

In addition to the specialty show, the Granite City Kennel Club all-breed
shows will be held in the same location on the same days.  That means there
are 4 shows in 2 days, and generally a good chance to see a lot of dogs and
people.

On Saturday there will be an OFA Heart Clinic with Dr. Chris Stauthammer,
Board Certified Cardiologist from the University of Minnesota; last year I
think it was $30 a dog, far less expensive (and more convenient) then making
a special trip for this important health check.

Tammy Corrow is taking charge of bell-ringing this year.  Right now it looks
like 3 to 5 PM so that it lines up well with the banquet.  Contact Tammy at
612-239-0401 or daisylovespeanut@yahoo.com.

We also have a banquet on Saturday night, including a great silent auction:
let Susie Manke know how many spaces you need reserved so that we can plan
for adequate space.  We plan to return to DB Searles again this year, just a
block from the Convention Center. Contact Susie at 320-558-6585 or
susieq_quilts@hotmail.com.  Happy hour sometime after 5 and dinner sometime
after 6.

Susie is also accepting donations for the Trophy Fund and Silent Auction
(which can be brought to the show Saturday).

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, Chris Plum 952-426-0235,
Christopher.n.plum@gmail.com

Also, there is a paid ad in the mailing from sulathenewfie.com; Sula is a
newf puppy from the Chicago area who has forelimb anomaly (FA) and her owner
is looking for others who may have similar experiences.  (She paid for the
printing and her share of the postage.)
