husband's oyster boat.

05/23/13 - Norwalk, near the number 14 channel marker near the
entrance to Norwalk Harbor, BROWN BOOBY located first by Larry Flynn,
then spotted in the water by John Oshlick as Larry Flynn was taking
photos of it from his boat. It then flew and landed on the rocks of
the channel marker. After it flew, it was relocated by Larry sitting
on the bow of a boat in the South Norwalk Boat Club Marina. It then
took off and landed on Larry's boat. The bird stayed on his boat as
he brought the boat into the dock before flying off. It was not seen
after that.

05/23/13 - Milford, Silver Sands State Park -- 12:30 PM;
Yellow-breasted Chat, well seen and heard with two other birders
present. Park in the main parking lot and walk west on the closed
paved road. The bird was relocated, on the left hand side, where the
road makes a shallow left hand turn. After that turn is the "T"
intersection abutting the condo property.
Westport, Compo Beach -- 5:00 PM; In the west winds and light rain,
there were 6 Black Terns flying around just off the cannons. They
flew out to the east side of Cockenoe Island where they were joined by
other Terns including Commons which showed up as lighter overall. The
Black Terns were still discernible at that distance in the scope.

05/23/13 - Westport, on the west side of Cockenoe Island with AJ Hand
-- adult Black Tern in alternate plumage, first spotted by AJ flying
towards us and then flew over and next to the boat affording us
fabulous views. This is my second Black Tern sighting in exactly a
week in Westport.

Lyme, Elys Ferry Rd -- 1 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO called as I was just

Palmer Neck Road on the way to Barn Island WMA . The field is the
first of two on the right about half a mile after the turnoff from
Greenhaven Road onto Palmer Neck Road.

05/22/13 - Waterbury -- 11:20 AM; Golden-winged Warbler in a line of
woods that runs along a sanitary sewer easement, located at the east
end of Avenue of Industry (Cul-de-sac), in the far northern edge of
town, on the Waterbury/Wolcott town line. Had it for about a minute,
then lost it - did not relocate it, and had to go.
