Families will enjoy the fabulous dancers, luxurious costumes and the classic Gothic story that has become a part of modern culture,” says Erin Cergiolli, executive and artistic director for the Tacoma City Ballet. As part of the Halloween season, families are encouraged to wear costumes to the performance. And for those who want to willingly give their blood, the Cascade Blood Bank will be accepting donations in the parking lot and welcomes audience members to come early. For the youngest ones, Tacoma City Ballet will also present “Dance with Dracula,” a non-scary, free storytime with dancers in costume from Dracula. Activities include mask making and participatory dance to the ballet’s dramatic score.
