Join us for our first Open Mic night in Gallucci Learning Garden's plaza, surrounded by flowers and friendly faces from the community! This night will be a celebration of several interconnected groups in Tacoma working toward Food Justice. At* 7pm*,* Food Not Bombs* will arrive to the Gallucci Learning Garden Plaza, and begin preparing a community meal to :share, made with food gleaned locally from the* Pierce County Gleaning Project.* The sign-up sheet for Open Mic acts will be set out at this time! *7:30pm:* food is served! Feel free to bring food to share, or donations to Food Not Bombs (ceramic and plastic bowls and eating utensils are always needed!). Extra brownie points to those who Hilltop Pop Shop <http://www.hilltoppopshop.com>will be there selling their locally and lovingly crafted popsicles with their famed bikemobile! *8pm:* Open Mic acts begin! A microphone will be set up; if you need added accommodations for your act, contact us and we might be able to work something out. Slots for performances will be first come, first served, and will be in 5-10 minute increments depending on how many people want to perform.
