The race committee has NOT decided whether to cancel or not. It depends upon you racers and the weather. The sonar fleet has decided to cancel their last race due to their commitment for closing day ceremonies. The committee would like to know if there are a SIGNIFICANT number of boats planning to race, if one is held. Fleet captains: Please poll your fleet members asap and get back to me forthwith regarding you desire and ability to put a minimum of three boats from your fleet on the line on Sunday, should there be a race. If an insufficient number of boats respond in the affirmative, the committee boat will likely be pulled out of the water in order to protect it from the coming weather.
