Just Brushed is the kickoff event for Ruston Art Walk. Its an outdoor, plein-air-style competition where artists create their entries on Friday, August 22, between 3 and 8 pm, around Point Ruston. They will then take their entries into the Waterfront Market to hang them while they're still wet. Those entries will be put up for auction and seen by all attendees of the Ruston Art Walk. There will be cash prizes and trophies in 2 categories, Best in Show and the People's Choice, as voted by the public. The deadline to apply is 5 pm, Wednesday, August 20.
