Actually that chart is the estimated coverage not the actual....It states
this in the fine print.

Again any one intending to use this offshore or needs to contact their
technical dept to make sure you will have coverage. You never know if you
don't once you get there without some other means of communication.
Iridium is the best comm. device to have as it's portable and does work in
all but the weird places.

It's not cheap but neither is life if you need to get a message out it's
priceless!
