Erie Canal Adventure

This evening, I arrived home at my docks, and ended my 35 days on the Erie
Canal.  It was one heck of an adventure and I will remember this for a long
time.

The trip included reuniting with old friends all over the Canals, meeting
new ones, and seeing new stuff all along the way.  The day before I had
planned on heading back home, the central Erie Canal was closed due to
flooding, between Lock 24 and Lock 25, and I was trapped on the western end
and could not return home.  So I headed west and enjoyed myself.

My life back home kept calling and there was not much I could do about it,
and that added a lot of frustration.  But, I made the best of it.

Meanwhile, I kept a daily log on my facebook page with many many photos,
they can be seen here:

Feel free to have a look if you like.

And now, I am going to go sleep for a week, and see how long it takes for
a very serious case of sea legs to go away.
