I'm in conversation with the Region of Durham regarding the access to the Nonquon lagoons in Port Perry. The decision as to whether they will be open this year or not has not been made. But they have assured me that they will continue talking to me and give me an update as soon as the decision is made. My request to the birding community is please do NOT contact the region directly asking these questions. I will handle this and report back to you as soon as I know something.
