SMS messages can be sent from your Cell phone to an Iridium Phone using the built in SMS system. This assumes that you know how to send an SMS from your cell phone. You need the Iridium number and 8816xxxxyyyy@msg.iridium.com Keep the message down to 160 characters. Something similar works for GlobalStar as I recall. Mike Capt.
