Lark Sparrow & Yellow-fronted Canary - Stratford Point

9/14. Stratford, Stratford Point - a few birds this morning, highlighted by a LARK SPARROW (brief look along mown path near lighthouse) and a YELLOW-FRONTED CANARY. It was a beautiful small yellow finch, native to sub-Sahara Africa, and a cage bird, but maybe blown here by a Hurricane? It flew in (I think off the Sound), landed in hedgerow by grass seedplot at lot, fed on grass seeds briefly, then flew SW. photos.
