I've got a little town that is all kinds of pissed off at the Town Clerk. They want to know the procedures for a recall election. I can't seem to find such procedures. Am I right that there are none?
This is a state law question - our ordinances don't provide for it, nor are we a charter city.

Oklahoma’s statutes do not provide for local recall elections. If there is not a local provision, then there is no recall.

Recall provisions are not provided under state law. The recall procedures would be created by a city charter.

As others have said, there is generally no ability to recall an elected official. There is a procedure to remove officers from office when the officer is not doing his/her job or is engaging in certain wrongful conduct. See 22 O.S. § 1181, et seq.
Good luck. You are probably in a very difficult, no-win situation.
