Hello All,
I've got a city interested in allowing people to apply for a license through the city to permit a zone that people can have open containers of alcohol in public within the specific zone. Do any of your cities have something similar to this, or is it necessary to have a city ordinance on this? The thought process behind this is for major events held within the city, for example there is coming up an all-school reunion. This would not be for anyone to be selling alcohol within the zone, but essentially a BYOB situation. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
