CHB invites you to help create new shoreline plant communities by planting
native trees and shrubs with us on Friday, Dec. 3rd from 9am to 3:30pm.
As part of the Port of Tacoma's habitat restoration project they have
created a public access, car top boat launch for kayakers. Part of the site
is a sacrificial feeder bluff designed to slow coastal erosion and provide
beach material. An adjacent site was also created for shoreline
stabilization.
Help us plant these new sites and create habitat for native wildlife. Come
for a few hours or the day. Hot drinks, morning snacks and lunch will be
provided.
