Hello all,

This is a reminder to please RSVP for the event below. Spaces are limited but we still have seats available.

Shelia Cotten and I are preparing an informal Marketing Session prior to ASA. This is intended for PhD students, postdocs, and junior faculty who want to learn more about how to make smart career decisions, and how to manage the interdisciplinary job markets available to those with ICT backgrounds from the social sciences. It will include a panel discussion with time for Q&A.

Jessie Daniels and JustPublics@365 have generously offered space in the  CUNY J-School (219 W 40th St New York, NY 10018), Room 308, on Aug.9, 4:30-7pm.

Panelists include:

Dr. Shelia Cotten (Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media at Michigan State University)

Dr. Jessie Daniels (Departments of Public Health, Sociology, & Critical Psychology at Hunter College and CUNY Graduate Center)

Dr. Barry Wellman (i-School at The University of Toronto)

Dr. Jenny Davis  (Department of Sociology & Anthropology at James Madison University)
