Hi,
Two of the blockers on 2.5 are a concern to me because they will impact those of us who have current deployments.
http://issues.collectionspace.org/browse/CSPACE-5080
http://issues.collectionspace.org/browse/CSPACE-5075
These have the noble goal of establishing managed lists of languages and countries that are based on ISO standards. That is great but it will require current deployments to change data values in their systems.
We went live with all migrated data for the University and Jepson Herbaria this past Monday (hooray!) (over 500K collection objects, 250K scientific taxonomy authority records, 100K organizations, 100K persons, 5K loans out, 3K loans in) We go live with the Hearst Museum of Anthropology on June 25, and there is much to do. Could we defer these two issues?
Thanks,
Chris
