"While some audiences may be familiar with the classic Disney movie, our ballet adds special touches to the story as well as innovative depictions of these beloved characters," notes Erin M. Ceragioli, Executive/Artistic director for Tacoma City Ballet. "Audiences will be charmed with Pinocchio as he learns how to determine right from wrong along his quest." Tacoma City Ballet has reimagined the classic tale from 1883 with original choreography accompanied by a score by Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich. The performance features sets and costumes designed exclusively for this production.
