Cross Lake Parade Information from Tammy Corrow - reserve by February 25 if you can - Parade is March 16

For the past couple of years, some NNC members have stayed at the Brainerd
Hotel & Conference Center, for the St. Pattys Day Cross Lake Parade. Last
year, we had eight newfies for the weekend and had tons of fun. They even
cleaned off the tennis court for us so the newfs could have a fenced in play
area.

I have reserved some rooms for NNC for the dates of Mar 15th thru Mar 17th.
If you plan on staying, when making reservations, please say you are with
Northstar Newfoundland Club for a "possible" discount.

If you make reservations on-line use NORNEW in the promo code.

The "possible" depends on how many rooms we use. $89./night without and
$78./night with discount. Since it is short notice for the hotel, they would
like us to make reservations by Feb 25th. If you decided you want to make
reservations after that date, the hotel believes they will have rooms
available, but can not guarantee it. Reservations can be made on-line or
directly to the hotel at 218-829-1441.

I just tried making reservations on-line. The hotel is having a glitch with their on-line reservations. The Group/Promo code NORNEW will not take. I spoke with the mngr, she is going to try and figure it out. So as of now, if you call the hotel directly to make reservations and say you are with NNC, you will get the group rate.
