CHB is celebrating Earth Day with a special restoration project at Mowitch
Estuary on April 25, 2009 from 9:30 to 2:30.  This restoration site runs
between the Hylebos Creek and Hylebos Waterway on Commencement Bay.  We will
be planting native plants, removing invasives and making general
infrastructure improvements.  Dedicated folks from both EarthCorps and the
Washington Conservation Corps will be helping out.  Come meet these hard
working young people and learn more about the world of habitat restoration.
Morning snacks and a picnic lunch will be provided to all hard working
volunteers.  Please pre-register by contacting Jeanine Riss at
jriss@healthybay.org or call 253-383-2429.
