Hello Gators,
Per the note in this week's Gator News, we are going to try a new meeting location for this Saturday's 7:30am bike ride... The dog park on Longford Rd. in Phoenixville. See the details below provided by Tim Pfluger (thanks, Tim!)...

Hey Don,
For outside rides, I’d like to make a recommendation to change our meeting spot. I think we should start meeting at the dog park on Longford. It’s a nice park with paved parking lots, a bathroom for women and men that is large enough for changing, and it has a water fountain for quick refills. This is all very helpful for the longer weekend rides to start, finish, and loop from. Also, during the week, many of us will be driving to the rides right from work with no time to change. Meeting here allows us to access the same trails and routes. >From the Oaks parking lot, it’s about a mile to get to the bridge that takes us the rest of the way down the Schuylkill trail, and instead from the dog park it’s almost exactly two miles. I think I’ll be meeting here from now on. If you still think that meeting at Oaks works best for everyone, we’ll just figure out a way to meet up. Feel free to share this info, or I'd be happy to forward this to the group and/or put it on Facebook.

Directions
Directions from park site - Rt. 422 to Oaks Exit. Come off the Oaks Exit and take a left onto Egypt Road, follow Egypt Road (Towards Expo/Lowes) 1.5 miles to the intersection of Longford Road and Egypt. Turn left onto Longford Road. Follow Longford for .6 miles over the Railroad tracks and the park will be on your left. * Pull into 2nd parking lot as first is for the dog park and isn't paved.
The way I go - Take 29 past Wegmans (towards Phoenixville) which you can get too off of 422 or heading down 29 from Collegeville; About a ½ mile from 422, take a left on Black Rock Road. Follow this road for about 1.3 miles. As you head down a slight hill, make a right onto Longford (it can sneak up on you). If you go too far, you’ll end up in Oaks with Uno’s on your left and the new shopping center on your right at the Egypt road intersection. Once on Longford, you’ll go less than a mile and reach a light with Egypt road as the cross street. Go straight through the light and about a ½ mile. You’ll go up and over train tracks and the park will be on your left.
*Pull into 2nd parking lot as first is for the dog park and isn't paved.
