What: Spring fund raising plant sale with over 250 species of
plants including ground covers, perennials, shrubs and trees that are ideal
for our Western Washington climate and ecology. Experts with WNPS will be
available to share their knowledge, botanical and gardening books will be
for sale and there is free parking. Check the BBG website for directions.

WNPS is a non-profit organization of native plant enthusiasts that supports
and provides educational workshops and field trips, Stewardship training,
restoration projects and research to conserve and sustain our local ecology

Douglas W. Tallamy, the author of "Bringing Nature Home", is a Professor and
Dept. Chair at the University of Delaware, where his research and writings
detail the critical importance of native plants and insects for biodiversity
everywhere. He will be lecturing at Seattle Town Hall on Feb.23rd, 2011 at
