Here's where you can find the first photos of the high-speed Blubay TC45:

The Aeroyacht site bills the TC45 as "the world's first foil-assisted
offshore power cat" which sounds like hyperbole to me.
No word if Gregor Tarjan, owner of Aeroyacht, will resurrect his plan
to attempt a New York-to-Bermuda record run with the TC45.
The Bermuda Challenge Trophy, for record setters in outboard-powered
boats 40 feet and under, is held by a Prowler 306 which took 22 hours
23 minutes to scorch the 690-nautical-mile distance at an average
speed of 30.9 knots. The Prowler was powered by Honda BF225 4-stroke
outboard engines.

Georgs,
It certainly is hyperbole. Of course it depends on what you mean by
offshore. However no matter how you define offshore I am sure that Nic de
Waal of Tecnicraft Design here in Auckland would dispute any, and all, of
their claims.
I will allow them some leeway as they are using New Zealand sourced surface
drives!

Malcolm Tennant.
