The WVIT-30 weather forecast just showed what was described as a big  flock
of birds emanating from the mouth of the Connecticut  River.

That would be the Tree Swallow roost, up to half a million birds estimated at its peak. I was just there Sunday evening as part of a Connecticut Audubon cruise to witness the event - was amazing as usual. It's a must-see if you haven't done it yet.
