Musica Alta Ripa! Please join us on Monday, March 13 at 7:00 PM at St.
Luke's Memorial Episcopal Church in Tacoma to welcome leaders of
Hannover, Germany's early music scene, harpsichordist Bernward Lohr
and baroque violinist Anne R**öhrig,**fresh from performances this
last weekend directing the baroque orchestra Musica Alta Ripa in a
production of Agostino Steffanis Opera /La Libertà contenta/ in
Hannover-Herrenhausen for the 6th Steffani-Festwoche. Bernward leads the
orchestra above.
The program will include Italian, German and French 18th-century solos
and trio sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, Archangelo Corelli, Andre
Chéron, Louis-Antoine Dornel, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Christian
Bach and Domenico Scarlatti.
