PDQ 41 design discussion

I see that PDQ has now posted considerable  new detail on their 41
powercat.  A technical section has been  added for the 41 (which can
be found at:  http://pdqyachts.com/power/41technical.htm )
In addition to the many downloadable  drawings, there are 6 pages of
notes from designer Ted Clements on his  thinking behind the design.
Naturally, it's a bit of a sales  pitch, but there is much interesting
design information to be found  here.  He discusses hull form; wave
making and spray reduction; bridge deck  clearance and shape; wake
interference; accommodation layout and  mechanical systems.
It makes you realize just how much  thought must go into a
successful powercat  design.
