From Janis LaPointe:
01/04/15 - Enfield, yard -- In the brush at the edge of my yard today
in Enfield, Brown Thrasher. Quite a nice surprise for Jan 4.

From Angela Dimmitt:
01/04/15 - Southbury/Mitchell's Farm -- noon-ish; 1st winter Iceland
Gull in "pumpkin" field along river.  No sign of Mew gull.

From Bev Propen:
01/04/15 - Milford, Silver Sands State Park -- 4:50 PM; Pair of
Short-eared Owls seen well with about a dozen birders.  One sat in a
tree, then flew to  the chain link fence;  another flew left over the
high mound, and both flew together as we were all leaving, giving nice
departing views.

From Alex Burdo:
01/04/15 - Fairfield, Hoydens Hill Open Space -- 1 YELLOW-BELLIED
SAPSUCKER, 2 WINTER WREN, 1 BROWN THRASHER, 1 FOX SPARROW. In total, 6
