Hi guys,
The 3rd Annual Imrím (Irish for “I play” ) Festival will be taking place at
Cook Park on Saturday, August 16th. The sports of Hurling, Rugby and
Australian Rules Football will be showcased with the opportunity for all to
play after the competitive matches. The Colorado Fenians Hurling Club would
like us to get a team together for a match (or more than one match
depending on the number of other teams that participate). The cost per
player is $25 and will cover field dues, food, beer and a t-shirt with our
logo on it. As of right now the Flagstaff Hounds Hurling Team have a
handful of guys that also play rugby that could join in with the Quins. The
match(es) will be 7s. The link to register is below:

Here is a link for hurling if you do not know anything about it:

Secondly, there is another volunteering opportunity on Saturday, September
26, at the South Pearl Oktoberfest. The time slot is from 1-9 P.M. From the
feedback I received, 4 hour time slots worked out pretty well. Please
e-mail me if you can work either 1-5 P.M. or 5-9 P.M. that day.
I'm finalizing the details for Beer Olympics and will send out an email
towards the end of the week. If you don't have a team put together, don't
worry about it- just show up!
Thanks, MJ
