Sorry to say I do not know of any such list, but I would also love to see
one. I wanted to comment on the Red-winged Blackbirds, who have been present
at my feeders all winter long, as I'm in northern Stratford. Just glancing
over my Feederwatch data, the only weeks they were absent were the first
week of November and the week of Valentine's Day. They numbered from a few
to 50, with the average group size when seen being 13.7.

Also, I've had large flocks of Grackles, Starlings, Redwings, and Cowbirds
the past couple weeks, with Grackles numbering up to around 500. And while
I'm writing this, a huge mixed of a few hundred individuals has flown in.

I can't speak to a full list (I also would like to get ahold of such a
one),
but as for the Red-winged Blackbirds, I was told by Jim Hunter last winter
that the male Red-wingeds that migrate to/through here typically get here
around Valentines Day to claim breeding territory (females follow about a
month later). There are some that winter over here (I saw a bunch in
January) to try and get primo territory for breeding.

Hi all,

I have seen lists for other states that show typical arrival (and
departure)
dates, but am not aware of one for CT. Can anyone point me to one if it
exists? It would be very helpful to me (and I suspect others) in knowing
what to look for when.

This question was triggered by the arrival of my first red-winged
blackbird
under my feeders today and I was curious if this is typically early,

late

or
right on time for them in CT (particularly in the Farmington Valley)?
