Dear Neighbors,
Thanks to the overwhelming success of the Vuecrest Ice Cream Truck event last month, we are doing it again this Saturday, September 12. This time we'll have TWO ice cream trucks, which should reduce the wait and make sure that everyone has a broader choice of items.
Here the details:
-
The trucks will be driving around our neighborhood from 6:00pm until around 7:30pm on 9/12.
-
No need to pay or tip-it's covered by the Vuecrest Community Association.
-
A menu of choices will be coming soon; there will be gluten-free and dairy-free options.
-
I'll be updating the neighborhood on the progress of the trucks, so you'll have a better idea when one is nearby.
-
As before, please wear a mask and offer six feet of social distance to your neighbors. Please stand back and don't crowd the truck. Keep your physical distance from the truck and other families. Have only one person(wearing a mask) receive the Frozen Confections for your group.
-
All Ice Cream is individually wrapped. Drivers will be using masks and wearing gloves and/or using hand sanitizer. Each driver's temperature is taken every time they show up for a shift. On the trucks, all areas that are touched - exterior and interior (seat, music player, dash knobs, handles, steering wheel, key, card reader, etc.) are sterilized every day before the truck goes out. Drivers have sanitizing wipes and throughout the day will wipe down the surfaces where customers might touch. If a customer does touch any area, it will be wiped down before they serve another customer.
Regards,
-Jonathan
