IN THIS ISSUE:Keep Vuecrest Beautiful Updated Building Guide Keep Vuecrest Safe Drones in Vuecrest Monthly Board MeetingsSummer Picnic Keep Vuecrest Beautiful Planning to paint the exterior of your home this summer? Unless you are repainting an identical color, be sure to submit your choices to the Board for review and approval. The process is often nothing more than a formality, but having to repaint your home can be unpleasant and expensive. Thank you for your cooperation.Updated Building Guide The Vuecrest Building Guide and Redevelopment Policy, which are updated from time to time, are published on our Community website Vuecrest.net. Look under Policies and Guides for the most current versions if you have plans to renovate or rebuild.Keep Vuecrest SafeFiling a speeding complaint or streetlight outage is easy. These concerns can be quickly brought to the attention of City officials via Vuecrest.net. (See link to City/County/State Services.) Concerns of excessive noise or vandalism should be reported to the non-emergency police line at 425-577-5656.Drones in VuecrestMuch to the dismay of several neighbors, drones have been recently spotted in Vuecrest yards. Safety concerns and complaints of privacy invasion have been raised with these flying devices. Similar to remote control airplanes, drones should never be flown near people, cars or houses. Please keep those drones at home! Monthly Board MeetingsThe next Board meeting will be held by Phil and Lea Sorgen (9652 Hilltop Road) on Thursday, August 6th at 7 pm.Summer PicnicJoin neighbors young and old for the Vuecrest summer picnic on Sunday, August 30th from 5-8 pm at the main entrance on Park Road. A Caribbean menu, steel drum band and local petting zoo will part of the fun. The event clean up, however, is a big job for our social chair Melissa Hambleton. Please donate a few minutes of your time at the end of the evening. Thank you!
