The Manta runs very well with one engine and with its very large rudders requires little helm correction, however Volvo doesn't recommend letting the shaft freewheel when it comes to the transmission. Two possible solutions would be to run the engine occasionally to circulate transmission oil if the engine is working, or utilize a shaft brake.

Speaking of engines, Pat, how about describing engine access on the
new Manta 44 PowerCat and explaining how you arrived at the decision
for that arrangement.
Also, how has the new PowerCat been received by the market? How many
orders have you booked? What is the base price?
