The team will be carpooling from the King Soopers off Hampden near I-25 at 10:00 a.m. The first match begins at 1:00, warm-ups begin at 11:45. Notes: - Leave extra early, there always seems to be traffic along I-25. There have been several instances, in recent memory, of players arriving late because of traffic delays. Plan for at least a 1.5 hour drive. - The last time we played at this pitch it was in lousy shape. I believe the poor condition of the pitch got in our heads a bit and hurt our performance. So, mentally prepare yourself for a crappy pitch now so it doesn't surprise you later. We can't do anything about the pitch, but we can ensure we don't let it break our focus. - There is a 30% chance of rain tomorrow with temps in the 40's. Dress accordingly and if you have access to an "easy-up" tent, please bring it. - Lastly, as always, be flexible. If something changes or doesn't go as planned, just roll with it. CO Springs always seems to throw us some "curve ball" or last minute twist. Whatever happens, just stick together and stay focused on playing your best.
