The South Sound chapter of Surfrider invites you to join us celebrating International Surfing Day, the summer solstice, and another successful year of local beach cleanups and water quality monitoring. We are hosting a free event at The Swiss Restaurant and Pub, at Jefferson and S. 19th near the UWT campus. The open house runs from 3:30 to 7 PM this Saturday, June 21st, and will feature a screening of the classic surfing film Endless Summer at 4 PM, and a performance by the Hawaiian-themed band Northwest Blend after the movie. The celebration will include a free raffle for tickets to see Jack Johnson perform at the Gorge Amphitheatre on August 23rd .
