TAT Lab focuses on arts education in K-12 public schools, working to ensure all students receive high quality arts instruction. TAT Lab seeks a cohort with geographic, gender, racial/ethnic, and artistic diversity; teaching artists outside the Puget Sound region and teaching artists of color are encouraged to apply. TAT Lab is open to certified K-12 educators; clock hours are available.
TAT Lab is designed to fit your schedule and lifestyle. The program runs September 2018 to March 2019 and includes:
- Three in-person training sessions lasting 2-3 days in Seattle
- Monthly teleconferences facilitated by a teaching artist mentor
- Ongoing, individualized support from mentors and peers

- Application of 21st Century Skills and Habits of Mind in the Arts
- Focus on Instructional Design
- Social Justice in Education
- Local and National Connections
