About 10 years ago I needed a new GPS for the autopilot and PC chart plotter and could not find a reasonable one until I discovered that Garmin had one. It was not listed in the regular catalog, but in the OEM catalog. It is a mushroom antenna with built in GPS and has only power and signal leads out on a lo-o-ng cable. It has been a workhorse for all this time. They should have something similar still available.
