To All -

Another beautiful night on the river! Warm and the wind held just long
enough to get us all around the course. Thank you Race Committee Bob
Shoemaker and Mark Kamen.

The results are preliminary because two boats are not identified - sail
numbers 143 and 30314. Please let me know who they are. Sail 143 finished
between Nerosh and Island Lady, and 30314 had a DNF but never called in to
retire. Please, if you withdraw have the courtesy to let the Race Committee
know so they don't stay out all night looking for you.

In case you didn't know, Eric Baumes, in Hee Soo, and Dave Otterbein, in
Breakaway, are competing in the annual Around Long Island Regatta this
weekend. You can follow progress by logging on to www.alir.org. The 190-mile
race starts tomorrow at 5 pm off Rockaway Point, goes counter-clockwise
around Long Island, and ends at Sea Cliff Yacht Club on the western end of
the Sound. We wish them good luck and a safe voyage.

Lastly, the weather this Sunday looks to be another fantastic day on the
water. It should be a carbon copy of last weekend. Remember, racing is just
a great excuse to go sailing.

See you on the water.
