Happy Saturday and Cinco de Mayo,
A reminder on our neighborhood waste and recycling billing and corrections being made. It appears that some homeowners were and continue to be charged additional for services. We have contacted Vaquero and this is being corrected. Your statements will be adjusted with the credit for the overcharge. However, don’t hesitate to reach out directly as some already have.
For clarity, LSR HOA entered into a 3 year agreement with Vaquero effective April 1st, 2017 going through April 30th, 2020. Each year, as per our contract, there will be an adjustment based on their customer price index. For LSR, that is 2.2% or $1.39 per quarter.
What that means to each of us is that through March 31st, 2018, our agreement is for a $63 charge plus tax. That is the rate for one 96 gallon waste container and one 96 gallon recycle container. If you were billed incorrectly, your bill will be adjusted back to that $63.00 rate during that time frame.
Starting April 1st, our new adjusted rate will be $64.39 per quarter plus tax. This was part of the original contract and accounts for the 2.2% CPI. That adjustment is to cover cost of living, higher fuel costs and consumables on vehicles.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Vaquero at 210.658.0487. They are aware and working to correct their error. They apologize for any inconvenience and want to ensure we are pleased and that they deliver exceptional service.

The other day I watch vaquero picking up the trash and I sought that they collect the trash and recycle cans and put them in the same truck. I remember tiger alway have 2 trucks for each can. If vaquero it’s putting ever together, why do we have to separate the trash?

The truck has two separate compartments. A large one for trash and a second one for recycle. The two cans are picked up at once but dump into separate compartments.
