Hi all
I am trying to help with some donations. If you have any of these items you are culling as you downsize, move, or for whatever reason, please consider dropping them by my house and I will get them to these families. Both families had family members working at the embassy helping protect our citizens and were evacuated because of that association. Here are things they are requesting
Sewing machineDrinking glassesDolls---like 18 inch dolls. Brown hair, Brown eyes would be nice.Boy bicycles, ages 10 and 4Twin mattress for boy still sleeping on the floorLegos
My former student is a retired counselor and has met the two families. One is the recipient of the sofa I needed to more along and she said the mother was thrilled to get the sofa, chair, and a set of dishes.
I know they need a washing machine but I am sure that is not a likely thing to have laying around. I just took boxes to the donation station so sadly my extra glasses are gone.
Anyway, if you have these items, I will be happy to get them to a family who will use them

Julia,
I don't know if they can use this, but I have a white dresser/mirror, desk
with bookshelf hutch, and nightstand. I also have a twin mattress, but it's
been wrapped up in the attic bc we got a bigger bed for my teen. They are
welcome to all of it, but I have no way to transport it. Text if
interested.

If you give me a couple of days I can definitely supply Legos! I’ll have both my boys go through theirs.

I have a sewing machine that has barely been used… I’d be happy to donate that. I think we also have an American girl doll that would fit the bill. And we do have a twin mattress in our garage.
How do we get these to the right place?
Warm regards,
JoAnn
