Dear Friends and Neighbors, I am collecting art supplies for Meadowlands Children's Home. Supplies can be new or used/good condition. The kids at Meadowlands, ages 7-18 years, live in “cabins” and are cared for by staff members because they do not have safe home environments with their families. The kids are not allowed internet access and now cannot play with any kids other than their own cabin-mates. A friend who teaches there said they struggle with having supplies and entertainment for them. If you have spare markers, crayons, tape, glue, colored paper, stickers, etc that are still usable, please drop them in the box on my front porch. I will clean them before I deliver them. Will they accept jigsaw puzzles? We also have some magnetic building that are used to build.
