Total:                    1333          2869          2869

Observation start time: 06:30:00
Observation end  time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8.5 hours

Official Counter:        Tom Bolohan

Observers:        Keith Sealy, Ronnie Goodhand

Visitors:
Thanks to Tom B., Keith S. and Ronnie G. for helping get today's count
done.

Weather:
SW and W winds for the day with temps running from 14C to 22C. No cloud
cover to start but it built in by 10 a.m. and remained at that for the rest
of the day making it much easier to spot the Broadwings.

Raptor Observations:
A Total of 1333 raptors for the day with the bulk being Broadwings.  Not
bad given the SW winds and if there had been northerly winds there would've
been a much bigger flight.

Non-raptor Observations:
The Monarchs were definitely on the move today although the guys didn't
provide an actual count.  No other bird species were reported.

Predictions:
Unfortunately, the winds overnight will be NW to NE but then switch over to
straight S.  This tends to give some lift at the cliff edge for species
like Osprey, Bald Eagles and the falcons... BUT will almost certainly
spread the rest of the flight inland away from the hawk watch. Still, as
long as it doesn't rain there should be birds on the move.
