NCL Spring Members' Meeting: Thursday, May 9

NCL Members,

Our spring Members' Meeting will take place on Thursday, May 9, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the ALA Washington office, 1615 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC.

Topics for discussion will (probably) include the following:

  • 2020 Census activities

  • Funding for AEFLA in the 2020 federal budget and other federal initiatives that affect our populations (work requirements, for example)

  • The Digital Equity Act of 2019

  • Initiatives related to the evidence base for adult education, including the IES/OCTAE studies being conducted by AIR and the discussions currently under way through the Open Door Collective

  • Other topics as identified by our policy co-chairs and by you

Please let me know by return email if you will be attending, and feel free to suggest other topics for discussion. Thanks!
