Our spring Members' Meeting will take place on Thursday, May 9, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the ALA Washington office, 1615 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC.
Topics for discussion will (probably) include the following:
2020 Census activities
Funding for AEFLA in the 2020 federal budget and other federal initiatives that affect our populations (work requirements, for example)
The Digital Equity Act of 2019
Initiatives related to the evidence base for adult education, including the IES/OCTAE studies being conducted by AIR and the discussions currently under way through the Open Door Collective
Other topics as identified by our policy co-chairs and by you
