** SMALL GRANTS OPPORTUNITY **

This is a reminder that applications for the 2010 Puyallup/Chambers-Clover Small Grants Program are due this FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18th.

A total of $45,000 is available to support projects benefiting salmon habitat, improving water quality and building community partnerships in the Puyallup River and Chambers-Clover Creek watersheds.

The Puyallup/Chambers-Clover Small Grants Program encourages citizen involvement in projects that help implement the priorities in the Pierce County Lead Entity Salmon Recovery Strategy, the Puyallup River Watershed Council Action Agenda and the Chambers-Clover Watershed Council Action Agenda.  Such projects may include watershed enhancement and restoration activities, and education and outreach activities.  Awards up to $2500 are available.
