Surely no one would suggest that magazine writers or boat sales reps would stretch fuel economy numbers !!!!! That would be misleading (tongue in cheek). Maybe some bigger "maintenance strakes" would help. My old Krogen hull with a pair of detroit 4/53s will make better speed at less fuel burn than a new Nordhavn with a single new diesel, go figure.
