I have adapted the steps needed to install Collection Space from the
wiki into a script. It does appear to get a base install of 2.0 running.
It is for ec2 only though.

Feel free to edit it, any feedback would be appreciated.

Chris -

Sorry for the long delay in responding. This is really cool, and we
appreciate your setting it up. I thought about it again yesterday, when I
saw an ad for this service: http://www.enterprisedb.com/cloud-database.

I was wondering about the data costs out of the cloud - have you thought
about the amount of media you would put up there, and how often you would
pull it down? I have not gone through numbers, so am not sure if it is even
an issue. I just know you pay for I/O.

Your scripts could also be a nice start on a better installer story, which
is on the list of things to do.

On a related note: We've been working with an inexpensive Linux vm vendor,
and while they offer support to clone a slice, they cannot save a slice
image, and then a build a new one from that image. We're talking to some
other VPS (slice) vendors who charge a little more, but provide better
services (including this ability to save and build from a slice image).

I think both approaches (images and scripts) would be useful in different
contexts.

Thanks again - it's great to see the quality of work that is happening in
our community!

Patrick
