The Washington Ecology Department building is just north of Olympia, at 300 Desmond Drive, on the campus of Saint Martins University.
We have three artists with current exhibitions to celebrate, and the opportunity to experience this 322,000 square foot building, throughout which are many other works by northwest artists.
Hart James, Brett Rude, and Eva Barber are the featured artists this winter.
Visitors who come to this special reception on February 23 (Friday afternoon) will also see major works by Alfredo Arreguin that were installed in 1997 through the ½ Percent for Art Program.
As well, you'd see a woven tapestry by Roy DeForest, a large painting by Robin Wassong, and several colorful paintings by Barlow Palminteri.
