Osprey – 1
Sharp-shinned hawk – 58
Cooper’s hawk – 1
Broad-winged hawk - 1216
American kestrel – 57
Merlin – 1

-west winds all day, not an ideal wind for counting broad-wings, they tend to migrate on a wide front. I went as far north as London to find them, hard to spot because they were streaming always, no kettles to speak of, largest stream had 170 plus birds, about 50 were seen at the cliff as well most of the sharpies and kestrels. All the streams of broad-wings today were heading in a southwest direction.
-count period 7:30 am – 4 pm
-monarchs were moving
