In the process of upgrading the nav computer to a Shuttle, I had occasion  to
decide if I needed to provide for 2 slots for the hardware for WeatherTrac.
Despite the fact that Ellen MacArthur used it this year, it appears that  the
company who wrote the software is "dead." Their web page hasn't been updated
since 2000, and a message left on their answering machine was not returned. It
seems that the folks who made their cards no longer do so. So, I guess the
"eggbeater" antenna and hardware will go on E-Bay, even though the stuff works
fine. Meanwhile, there's a lot of chatter about GRIB, some of which is
available (wxworx) via XM. Unfortunately, I'm going further than XM reaches. Any
opinions on the various software packages available to display GRIB files from
the various sources such as Inmarsat, Iridium, Internet, etc?

Regards,
