History in Bronze

Tacoma Historical Society's guest speaker for February 2020 is sculptor Paul R. Michaels. Michaels creates beautiful life-size bronze figures, busts and historic plaques as well as representational sculpture. Michaels has a unique ability that blends his love of history and art in bronze.
He has worked closely with the Tacoma Historical Society to design and create several pieces which document significant people and locations in Tacoma history.
Murray Board Room, Wheelock Student Center, University of Puget Sound - free admission, all are welcome!
